What in the holy fuck is this? They were thrilled to be molested? It didn't kill them? Pathetic Quote: NEW YORK (AP) — Barbra Streisand is coming under intense criticism on social media for telling a newspaper that two men who say they were molested as children by Michael Jackson were "thrilled to be there" and that the alleged abuse "didn't kill them."
In a wide-ranging interview with the Times of London, Streisand said she "absolutely" believes the accusers. Wade Robson and James Safechuck make their allegations in the HBO documentary "Leaving Neverland." But the legendary singer also raised eyebrows by saying Jackson's "sexual needs were his sexual needs." “His sexual needs were his sexual needs, coming from whatever childhood he has or whatever DNA he has," Streisand told The Times in the interview. “You can say ‘molested,' but those children, as you heard say, they were thrilled to be there. They both married and they both have children, so it didn’t kill them.” |

It's also bizarre that as FF said, pretty much everyone knows he was a child molestor yet his music is still used in TV commercials and there is a Circue du Soleil show celebrating his music. |

Yeah it is amazing that Jackson is kind of see as untouchable no matter what all comes out. I mean we live in a world where the Dicaro's of the world want Addison Russell to never be able to play baseball again and yet Michael Jackson is celebrated while being a known child molester crazy fucking world |

She is one of the worst of the Hollywood elites who believe that they should have everything catered to for them included whatever sexual favors and priorities that they happen to have. |

I thought that he should have been looked at as the same kind of pedophile scumbag as R Kelly, Elvis or Jerry Lee Lewis. I pointed out the latter two earlier this week and I don't know that anyone had a word to say about it here either. They seem to be untouchable icons themselves. |

But he was very clearly a pedophile and anyone saying anything to the contrary is wrong, it’s not an opinion-based debate. |

I don't remember right now, but a pedophile is a sick fuck in my book no matter how anyone wants to phrase it. Or marry a child, or child cousin. |

I agree, but Jackson has been dead for a decade as well by now. I just don't get the attention now from any quarter. And she must be going senile to even chime in on this now. |

I am not that familiar with Elvis and Jerry Lees stories, but from what I recall Elvis married Prysilla when she was under 16, and Jerry Lee married a child cousin? While both of those things are bad, I don't think they are quite the same as what Jackson was doing. Unless I am missing part of their stories, marrying a young one is a little different than being a habitual child molestor and all that has come out regarding Jackson. |

Tad Queasy wrote: The tone of her comments almost makes it sounds like she's trying to normalize pedophilia Bingo. Well, that's almost where the Democratic party is going. If a person has same-sex attraction desires no Democrat would say that's inappropriate. So most people like her are 50% of the way to support pedophilia. In a world where a person identifying as a different gender is normalized along with post-term abortion, pretty soon there are no guard rails to sexuality and morality. What comes next after pedophilia is probably bestiality. Prior to the Bible with the Judeo-Christian position of only sex with your wife, it was common in many cultures for men to have sex with little boys. So it is Judaism and Christianity that informs our morals when pedophilia and child brides are forbidden. Some of what Streisand said was probably true in some sense. Jackson was probably molested. Because of that he had inappropriate sexual desire for pedophilia. Whether the boys wanted to be there is not known or their motivation. The fact that they are married is not proof that the molestation didn't have an effect on them. She basically justified and minimized this behavior. The right response is this is terrible and that Jackson should have been in jail and then in therapy. There is never any justification for sex with a child ever. As human beings we must protect all children to the best of our ability from being molested or being stirred to any form of sexual activity. The damage that molestation does to a young person should never be minimized or justified. Honestly it is an offense that it is very close being worthy of the death penalty because it is ultimately a sin against God and the dignity of every child. |

Streisand should have taken up Kris Novoselic's offer to replace Kurt Cobain in Nirvana. It would have been a natural. I mean, to not take opportunities when they are offered is simply nuts. |
