They think they are so cute with their "day off after opener" concept. Now the Cubs and Pirates will be doing nothing on a beautiful mid 60s day with both Wednesday & Thursday looking like shit shows weather-wise. |

Agreed, it's going to be 67 and sunny today. Tomorrow has a high of 41 and it's gonna rain on n off all day. |

Here is what you do, you bump Wednesday or Thursday's(whichever looks better) game to today. Then you give people that can't make that game, a chance to turn in their tickets for credit to another game... Then you can sell those tickets again for anyone who wants to buy/attend. It's all digital transactions now, so it's easy. Amazing that a billion dollar corporation can't audible like this and make an adjustment. |

Barring weather that's in the 'calamity' category (big hurricane, for example), I don't think teams are allowed to move games up the schedule, just further down the road. |

I agree. Two teams are sitting around on a perfect day like today and in Chicago, for April it doesn't get any better. There's a 100% chance of rain tomorrow with a high around 40 - way to think out of the box MLB. OTOH, it's good news for Darvish because he'll have shitty weather to explain his loss (whether tomorrow or the next day). |

Tonight would have been a perfect viewing opportunity for a Cubs game, SPEAKING AS A CUBS FAN! |
