Not to get all political but is Beto O’Rourke kidding me with this? That’s not Casey’s breakfast pizza dude! Not even close! Just because you’re eating pizza in the morning doesn’t make it Casey’s breakfast pizza. Casey’s breakfast pizza doesn’t have marinara sauce on it. There’s veggie Casey’s breakfast pizza that has all those olives and peppers on it but they only put that out to expose the fakes. Still doesn’t explain the marinara sauce. What a fraud. How can we trust anything he says after something like this? Did he seriously think Iowans weren’t going to realize that? That’s the part that makes me the most mad. He made that video thinking he could sneak a regular ass piece of pizza by us brainless flyover hicks and we’d just smile and give him our vote for president. Well think again you Texas fuck. We caught it and you just lost Iowa’s vote with that embarrassing pizza charade. Get out of our state and never come back.

They had a breakfast sausage gravy one the other day they were trying out . It was foul. Woman at counter told me as I bought it I’d either love it or I’d hate it. Said it was running about 50/50.

At first blush, it doesn't seem to me to be any huge departure to go from biscuits & gravy to pizza & gravy. I would think it would be difficult to fuck up because you're just changing from one type of bread to another. Seems logical to me that a fan of the former would likely be willing to take a run at the latter. Whether it works or not is a different discussion.

There are other pizza places that are local that are better than both but Casey’s is just fine for a grab and go situation and is a lot better than the hut.

But seriously, pass on the gravy breakfast pizza. Maybe with better ingredients it would be passable but that was not good gravy.

Yes, we joke, but I agree with that assessment. There aren't places to grab a slice of pizza in more rural areas (unless it's garbage frozen pizza) which is why Casey's gets such great reviews. Obviously, if it was in downtown Chicago, no one would have ever heard of it.

The only way I'd be at Casey's is if I was on the go and biscuits and gravy is not an on the go meal.

I like it conceptually. Make it a breakfast creation at a local restaurant and I'd try. Biscuit crust, country gravy sauce, crumbled sausage, scrambled egg and fried diced potatoes topping. Yum, yum, eat em up!

Just looking into it, they use regular pizza crust. Can't do that but this concept CAN work. No cheese on it either.

when ordering a breakfast pizza at Casey's, it is very important to order it well done. A well done Casey's breakfast pizza is actually pretty good, but if you dont get it well done it can be an under-cooked, slimy, floppy, unappetizing mess.

Caseys pizza has the approval of the late Stobe the Hobo. And that is all that matters.
