At this point I assume your bar has "Flat Screen TV's" to watch the BIG GAME. I assume your hotel has a 45" "Flat Screen TV" in every room. They don't even make any other type of TV anymore. It's no longer a selling point - so stop including it in your commercials/ads. |

Yeah, and they're family-owned since [year], too! |

Someone tell Hamptons and Holiday Inns that every hotel has a 45". You're lucky to get a 32" 720p most of the time. |

They are so thin now the speakers suck, you need a sound bar to get real volume. |

total dick move. However, this assbag used a VA loan (awful deal) and the va inspector freaked out about the barn. (150 year old barn on back of property with a big hole in the roof and busted joist) He said he would fix it himself. came out with his son and they couldn't figure it out. I took a day off of work the day before closing and fixed it all by myself. Sorry buddy you get 2 bigass tube tvs. |

We are pretty lucky we have Waste Management (I am not sure you know who is running those guys? -R. Dangerfield). You can basically call ahead of time and they will send their special truck out. Some burbs have to wait for annual dump days etc. |

They take it some place and people pay money to smash the shit out of it with sledges or bats. Haven’t availed myself of the service as we usually just take it to recycle but this might take less effort. |

I bought a 55 inch during the xmas season last year and I'm already thinking about a 65 or 70 for the NFL season. |

VA Loans are almost always a bad deal. the funding fee and pmi are not a good substitute for the low down payment. |

The people who still have CRT TVs were not that bright. The DTV transition was in 2009. Around that time it was easy to dump TVs at Good Will and free recycling events. Best Buy was even taking them free for awhile. It is still possible to dump them without disassembling them. You just have to research what your garbage company or local municipality is offering in terms of disposal. It wasn't until 2012 that Illinois banned electronics in landfills. It seemed like there used to be a ton of free recycling events, but maybe the state stopped paying for the events or perhaps the scrap price decline made taking apart TVs too much hassle. |

I still have a 35" tv that is so heavy that when I brought it out of the basement it took me, my then 15 years old son and two of his teammates to get the damn thing upstairs. I guess that the wife is more frugal than me, we had a discussion about this and her words were it works perfectly, why get rid of it? I've got to get the damn thing out before my youngest heads back to school at the end of July. I want to get rid of directv in the worst way. |
