The murderer's step-brother plays for the same school the victim and the murderer went to.
The murderer got expelled from the HS for stalking the victim, among other things.
The step-brother "....apparently wanted to wear a tribute to him on his football uniform."
The victim's father and pretty much everyone else in the city said FUCK THAT SHIT, so the school told the sibling no.
So the murderer's family made a stink about the cheerleaders plan to pay tribute to the victim, and the school administration caved.
Unreal.


How this asshole's family hasn't been run out of town on a rail is beyond me.
If my brother shot and killed his ex-girlfriend in her own house, then tried to kill the ex-girlfriend's mother too, I think I would've changed my name and moved out of state.....not stayed at the same school, stayed on the football team, then decide I want to 'pay tribute' to my brother, WHO IS STILL VERY MUCH ALIVE AND IN JAIL AWAITING TRIAL. This is the first time I read anything about this story and I've got to say that it blows my mind what that brother did. It also blows my mind that the school said no to doing a memorial for the girl. IF the parents of that murderer had a problem with it then I say fuck those parents and what they think.

The board changed their mind about an hour and a half ago. The previously planned tribute or whatever is back on.
Kinda odd seeing the story on NBC 5 about 10 minutes ago.
They didn't just cover the story, they sent a reporter up here to do on the street interviews.
I hope the guy made it back to Chicago safely....
