The Hawks and Bulls had brief flashes, but were part of a collectively worse period in the seventies. |

Shows how great of an owner Reinsdorf was. He pretty much saved Chicago from two decades of embarrassment. His decline is what exposed Chicago as a second tier sports city. |

who's in the best position right now? Maybe White Sox? there does not appear to be much hope as far as a championship in Chicago for the foreseeable future. |

Cubs then Sox are most likely. After that, pick one. |

They are appropriately rated. Bears need a new QB before they win a SB. |

I did a quick analysis of all five teams since 1966 (the year the Bulls started). There was one year when all five teams were at or above .500 (2008). There were two season when all five teams were below .500 (1978 and 1999). 1999 was particularly dreadful: Cubs 67-95 Sox 75-86 Bears 6-10 Bulls 17-65 Hawks 33-39-10 |

Hawks are officially removed from list of teams that are sucking. They are leading the NHL in goals scored this month and are winning games against good teams. Shot suppression could be better, but with Lehner and Crow playing as they are, it's survivable |
