Way to waste the offensive talents of Kane, Toews, Saad, DeBrincat, and Strome...

I would've started this in the Blackhawks section but I can't create polls there.

Would love to be wrong but I just dont see them firing a dude that they just hired a year ago.

They fired Q last year with 6 wins at this point. Colliton, with an improved roster, has only 3.

There is no disputing that Colliton has better players to work with at this point in the season than Q did last year.

I completely agree he deserves to be fired immediately. I just dont see it...hope I am wrong

The only thing holding them back from firing him right now is doing so would require firing Lispy as well (although they should've fired him with Q)

And you are basing this on?

Colliton was Lispy's hire last year. Lispy made Q his scapegoat (and face it, that's what he was) for an aging defensive core that was unable to be shored up due to poor drafting. If Colliton goes down, then Lispy must too for both the hire and for the Seabrook extension.

Can they just ship him back to Rockford?

Lots of truth here.
Colliton will get at least one more season.

I think they will can him this year. There is a reason Marc Crawford is here.

I agree, heaven help us if he is the long term solution.

Yeah, but Marc Crawford is kind of an idiot, too. He's just an idiot who got to coach Joe Sakic and Peter Forsberg at the top of their game, and then added Patrick Roy in a trade that the team never would have been able to swing in Quebec City for sooner-die-than-trade-with-you reasons.

I think he's gone by Thanksgiving. McDonough won't tolerate the team getting mocked as some kind of old-time hockey dinosaur. Whether Crawford is enough to right the ship, I can't tell.

I am fine is Crawford takes over for the year, but he can not be the coach beyond this season.
