So Republicans using Corona Virus as a an excuse to suspend rules for environmental protections like clean drinking water... We are living in a crazy time in history and these republicans who only care about money and have no empathy for humans or there health is disgusting on many levels. What this virus has brought to light is many conservatives true colors how they view society.
Quote:
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued a sweeping suspension of its enforcement of environmental laws Thursday, telling companies they would not need to meet environmental standards during the coronavirus outbreak.

The temporary policy, for which the EPA has set no end date, would allow any number of industries to skirt environmental laws, with the agency saying it will not “seek penalties for noncompliance with routine monitoring and reporting obligations.”

“This EPA statement is essentially a nationwide waiver of environmental rules for the indefinite future. It tells companies across the country that they will not face enforcement even if they emit unlawful air and water pollution in violation of environmental laws, so long as they claim that those failures are in some way 'caused' by the virus pandemic. And it allows them an out on monitoring too, so we may never know how bad the violating pollution was,” she wrote in a statement to The Hill.

The EPA has been under pressure from a number of industries, including the oil industry, to suspend enforcement of a number of environmental regulations due to the pandemic.

Serious question, before this all started, weren't they saying that we were using too much hand sanitizer? That it was basically disabling the bodies natural response to fighting pathogens? And now we are chemically spraying the shit out of everything, what will be the uptick in cancer years from now?

I have two small bottles, trying to save those as much as possible for trips out. I actually have been using the hydrogen poroxide cleaner for a lot even my hands..that has been in stores. Might start drinking bleach if things get worse(and by worse reading more Ogie's doomsday posts).

This will probably be forgotten as quickly as our elected officials selling off stocks after Covid19 meetings.

As long as the press sees COVID hysteria behind the left hand, you can park a battle carrier behind the right hand and no one's gonna fucking notice.

Unless it's. 04% of funds set aside for universities being given to a HBCU.

probly to ease restrictions while making more equipment (masks, ventilators, etc.). Whats wrong with that?

Sort of like temporarily easing restrictions on truckers so that grocery stores can be stocked.
