Paid a visit to Binny’s Arlington Hts yesterday mid-afternoon. Walked to the entrance and they had 2 people waiting in line for 1-in 1-out. Ok, must be busy since it’s Saturday afternoon. Once I’m allowed in there are literally 20 customers in the 20,000 sq ft store. What a fucking joke. When I leave there is now a line of 15 people waiting to get inside. Nearly the fucking number waiting beside each other than spread out over 20,000 sq ft. This is becoming a mental disease Trader Joe’s in the same plaza is even more ridiculous with people lining up. Do not support these bullshit stores and their dumbass policies |

My butcher shop was the same way. It’s small inside, but they have dozens of people clustered on the strip mall side walk. |

On Tuesday the local Mexican place by me had none of this. Of course they were packed(May 5th) ... there were about 20 people waiting inside.. They weren't enforcing masks.. Hell the workers weren't even wearing them. You could feel the tension between the mask wearers and non mask wearers. This is my new favorite restaurant. |

I used to joke the comparisons between ND and Northern IL were like two different worlds, but all these restrictions you guys are experiencing really drive that point home further. |

I’m sure I know the answer, but is there any rationale whatsoever to how many people they allow in at once ? Like how do they determine what that number is ? |

That’s what I would assume too, but it seems like the OP is saying that doesn’t seem to be the case If like 5 people are allowed inside a place the size of a football stadium |

In addition to the "we're here for you during challenging times" commercials, one of the worst things to happen during all of this is how companies are trying to one-up one another in safety precautions. Standing out in the cold for 15 minutes is not going to help me not contract the virus. All these companies are doing is making it a pain in the ass to shop in their stores. |

I was going to stop at Pete's in Evergreen a couple weeks ago and line was around the building to get in. People were basically on top of each other waiting in line outside. Kept driving and went to Jewel instead. |

denisdman wrote: The Woodman’s liquor department is solid as hell plus they have good prices and selection. The grocery part of Woodman's in Carpentersville and Kenosha have been making everyone wait in one long line that usually reaches to the back of the store until they eventually get filtered to few cashiers. It's probably about a 30 minute wait until you get to a cashier. Neither Meijer, Jewel, Target, nor Whole Foods are doing this and you can get in and out of there in a reasonable amount of time while still staying "safe." |

Yes I go to the Carpentersville one. But the liquor department is separate and has its own check out. Never a line. |
