That's why he made sure no one signed him last year.

You can't sign him to back up a white quarterback not named Tom Brady, because then the controversy becomes why you aren't giving him a chance to start.

Tampa. Kansas City, and Baltimore are realistically the three places he could be a backup. Baltimore makes the most sense.

People do have to realize that the last time we saw Kap playing football, he was beat out for a starting job by Blaine Gabbert. This was before any controversy and after the 49ers had invested heavily in him.

This is exactly my problem with Parkins and Bernsie last week. Everyone knows this. SO why can't these people say yes it was a problem for the NFL and we can discuss that any way you like. But he is no longer viable and why demand that he is signed or that Goodell should have told teams to do it?

Plus the Bears made him look horrible. Might as well sign Cutler now.

It is realistic to think that he shouldn't be signed and thrust into a starter's role.

To think he couldn't even be a backup is probably silly.

He sees himself as an attraction. He's not playing for less than $10M a year. I believe he requested $20M from the XFL.

yikes

He would seem a good backup candidate to Lamar Jackson or Josh Allen as he runs that system, but a backup is making half that on the high end.

I think what he's saying is right though. Presumably people would come out to see the spectacle that be brings. So economically he makes sense to say that if you can prove there's a decent ROI. But in a practical sense he's a dumbass more likely.

Seattle always made the most sense and the only reason it didn't happen IMO is because like Nas said, Kap was asking for too much

In a hard cap league you aren't overpaying a backup QB to sell tickets and merch

That's why I said in practical terms he's being a dumbass about the demand. You just wasted a post bruh

Where does it say there is a decent ROI? I've seen a lot of your posts call out people for being misleading...

He specifically said he did not want to be a backup. As was mentioned about that and the 100-200 million dollar demands since he was out of SF makes it very clear what his intentions were way back when. All you had to do was look.

Many here tied themselves up in knots about he can play he should play etc etc. He was never going to want to be a backup nor under say 10M a year. He set up a perfect scenario for his next career and 100M from Nike.

FavreFan and the definition of the word if don't seem to know each other very well. I wonder how their paths have never crossed.

I quoted the part of the post that made me laugh. The phrase "decent ROI" when discussing a backup QB selling tickets is funny. Not much more to it than that. If's got nothin to do with it

I'm done with Pro Football. Goodell and the owners have abandoned the fans and the United States in general with their deliberate bigoted position in support of terrorist organizations, BLM and Antifa. And virtually everyone I know who is a veteran feels the same way. Goodell has taken patriotism and dishonored this country in his decisions and philosophy. I don't need to watch football or any social activity based on the biases of the owners or participants of the activity. I'm done.

This dude (FF) prolly didn't do too well in "if then" sentence constructions in second grade. You can delete the "if" because ya feel like it. Probably skipped class to smoke joints. Makes sense.

Maybe the Bears will try sign Jerry Rice to sell some tickets. Could be a decent ROI
