Doesn't like being filmed by TV camera while playing golf on the PGA tour. Went after a cameraman after fucking up a bunker shot and being filmed having an outburst. then released an awful statement to the media about how its not fair that they film him when he's acting like a jackass.

This is going to be a rolling thread.

Bryson put up a 10 today. And it wasn't his fault. He may surpass Mickelson as my most disliked golfer by the end of the year. Now that I think about it, he may already have.

He’s played golf long enough to know what the rule is for out of bounds. I watched his round and he was playing good enough to make the cut but he wanted to do something spectacular and it blew up in his face.

Was he essentially asking whether the OB line is treated as the baseball foul line where the furthest edge of the line actually represents the boundary line between in play and out, and anything on the line is technically in play, or the goal-line in football, where the closest edge to the field of play represents the boundary?

Why did you buy Dr. Ken a drink out of nowhere?

The baseball on the line in play only applies to refinished golf balls.

Why are you so defensive about buying Dr. Ken a drink out of nowhere?

Saw him at a spot I frequent, figured I'd buy him a drink since he opened up his home to me for the podcast, and I never got to return the favor.

Appearing on SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio ahead of this week’s major championship at Torrey Pines in San Diego, California, Brad Faxon told Michael Breed that he heard about a possible Koepka and DeChambeau pairing at the U.S. Open.

“I found out last night that the USGA actually did call Bryson DeChambeau and his agent to ask if they would be okay with that and Bryson declined,” said Faxon.
What a fucking tool. Koepka is just as big a douche as well.

Isn’t there a pairing system that is not decided by the participants?

While I pretty much agree that they are both tools, I think that if they did pair the two together this particular week that it would become THE story at the US Open, and pretty much overshadow the tournament (at least the first two days).

Leave the US Open alone. They can be paired for the yuks at a lesser tournament down the road.

This guy is fucking piece of a work. He's like a real life Shooter McGavin type jagoff.

Quote:
Bryson DeChambeau has been accused of “acting like an eight-year-old” by his own equipment-makers for declaring “my driver sucks” after a frustrating start to the Open Championship.

While playing partner Jordan Spieth shot a 65 to stand one off Louis Oosthuizen’s first-round lead, DeChambeau struggled to a 71 and characteristically pointed the finger of blame anywhere but himself.

“If I can hit it down the middle of the fairway, that’s great, but with the driver right now, the driver sucks,” DeChambeau said, after hitting just four of 14 fairways.

“It’s not a good face for me, and we’re still trying to figure out how to make it good on the mis-hits. I’m living on the razor’s edge, like I’ve told people for a long time.”

Cobra signed up DeChambeau to a long-term deal when he turned pro five years ago and pay him millions to play with their clubs. Understandably the Calfornian company was not at all impressed with his comments. However, it is extremely rare for a sponsor to call out a player, especially one with such a profile as the world No 6.

“It’s just really, really painful when Bryson says something that stupid,” Ben Schomin, Cobra’s tour operations manager, told USA Today. “He has never really been happy, ever. It’s like an eight-year-old that gets mad at you. They might fly off the handle and say, ‘I hate you.’ But then you go. ‘Whoa, no you don’t.’

“We know as adults that they really don’t mean that and I know that if I got Bryson cornered right now and said, ‘What the hell did you say that for?’ he would say that he was mad. He didn’t really mean to say it that harshly. He knows how much everyone bends over backwards for him, but it’s still not cool.”

DeChambeau’s power game is obviously built on the obscene distances he can launch the ball. He has recorded ball speeds of more than 200mph - unprecedented on Tour - and regularly hit it more than 400 yards in practice. He is currently using a driver that is 46 inches long with only 5 degrees loft. It is not on general sale, but has been developed solely for DeChambeau. “Everybody is looking for a magic bullet,” Schoomin said. “Well, the magic bullet becomes harder and harder to find the faster you swing and the lower your loft gets.”
