The Cardinals have had over two weeks now to get things in order and if they can't find clean players on their taxi Squad, they should forfeit. The Marlins got thier shit together. |

Interesting so it's NOT because of the new positive? |

The rumor I saw on Twitter was that a doubleheader would be scheduled Saturday to allow the Cardinals to get a team workout on Friday. |

White Sox players start testing positive starting Monday. At least Theo was tuff enough to say FU to mlb and have the series cancelled. |

At some point, Manfred just has to either cancel their season or force the alternate site players to comprise the roster. |

Agreed. You get a few days to test and get your roster together with the taxi squad, then you either play the games or you forfeit. Also if the Cardinals are Marlins have another player test positive and they have to cancel games because of that, then they don't get a chance to make those up. Those are forfeits. Teams should not get a second chance. |

https://www.nbcsports.com/chicago/cubs/ ... bleheaders W T F The Cubs will soon get their first taste of seven-inning doubleheaders. The Cubs and Cardinals three-game series at Wrigley Field next week will become a five-game set, with doubleheaders being played Monday and Wednesday. Monday's first game will start at 4:15 p.m. and Wednesday's at 1:20 p.m. The Cardinals will be the home team of Game 2 of each doubleheader because those are makeup games from last weekend's postponed series in St. Louis. The two clubs will also play a doubleheader at Wrigley on Sept. 5, beginning at 4:15 p.m. |
