Good Will Website Admits Store is Selling On eBay

https://www.amazinggoodwill.com/shop-online

So basically they are accepting donations and cherry picking stuff to sell on the Internet instead of selling the good stuff at the store.

As long as they are using that money for charitable work, what’s the fucking problem?

That's a different story. You may want to check out their rating as a charity. I can find a lot of better places to give my money.

Was a manager at Goodwill from 2016 until last March. It's all about getting the most to put towards the mission. Some people donate high end stuff, that in store you aren't going to get the value for. We sent out lots of stuff: Legos, memorabilia, musical instruments, video games, books that are considered Amazon Hot List, and movies.....to name a few items.

Goodwill Omaha CEO Frank McGree ... received between $400,000 and $930,000 annually, while more than 100 workers at his stores made less than minimum wage.

Likewise, a 2013 Watchdog report found that the married couple in charge of Goodwill Industries of Eastern North Carolina, Dennis and Linda McLain, received close to $800,000 annually while employing workers with disabilities who were paid less than minimum wage.

And what about the president and CEO of Goodwill Industries International... Jim Gibbons... Based on those reports, Gibbons has earned more than $700,000 a year since taking the job in 2008.

being a ceo of a charity is mega bucks. they always make millions of dollars. doesn't make sense but it's been like that for a long time.
