Lester is done. He was done a couple years ago. I bet if you got a couple scotch and sodas in him he'd agree and say that any offer today is just taking money. He had a great career. Kap can’t help himself. When the transition from Theo to Jed was just starting he was fine with gutting the roster. He let GDub get in his head about how the Cubs should be the Yankees and never field a subpar product. But the Cubs clearly gave Lester a number and said this is what we can do.
