For not going out there and pulling Baez out of the game after that bullshit in the 7th inning today.
Baez should have been pulled from the game and sat tomorrow.

No, he skied one to no mans land and it dropped. He should have been on 2nd but he was pouting in the batters box and throwing his bat. The he half assed it to first and way over ran the base and was only safe due to his weird ability to avoid tags. Boss Ross absolutely should have pulled him. Rizzo chewed his ass afterwards in the dugout at least.

He then went on to strike out in an important late AB and is of course in the lineup today because Ross clearly has no sac as a leader amongst his former peers.

During which, Baez didn't slide into second. Not that he would have broken up the DP, but by staying on his feet and half ass ducking, there was zero chance to break it up. It was like he morphed into Grandal for a few minutes.

Ross did the same thing last year when Baez pulled a ball he thought was foul and landed fair. Baez was still standing at home plate when it dropped inside the line.

Didn't like the answer Ross gave to reporters when they asked him if Baez would have made it to second if he ran out of the box. Ross just said, "I talked to Baez" and refused to answer the follow up questions.

This team is unwatchable. Havn't watched a game since opening week.

I'm not a Baez fan, and he deserves all the criticism...but I think it's got to be killing him that he's not going to get even half of what Lindor got, and he probably thinks he's better.

He bet on himself and lost. He should of cashed in when he had the most value. Greed got the best of him.

No one that watched the team thought he was a 300MIL player, even after his 2nd in MVP season. Odds were he was not going to have another season like that given his swing and history.

This guy needs to be given the Bobby cox treatment. He dogs it too much, has no aye discipline. With his skill level if he had some plate discipline and paid attention to what the hell he was doing here has the physical talent to be a an all time great but his limitations between his ears will cost him tens of millions and over greatness. Send him a message while he's young enough still to receive it.

It's his 8th year, he's not young, he's not going to hear it. That's not good or anything, but it's not changing. That why I said cut him or play him everyday, either he's better than the next guy even while he's dogging it, or he's not.

Yeah, you have a style too that often times might be described as "unprofessional." How many balls off the wall have you stared at and admired during your career. Its at least two in the past week or so if I'm not mistaken.

Full disclosure, I think Garrett is a jag and its BS that he acts the way he does sometimes after a run of the mill strikeout. But if bat flips and stare downs and "passion" is going to be a part of the game, then you have to be able to take it if you're going to dish it out.

I knew you would be one of the first to reply to my post, and I knew you'd post something stupid.

ERA as a reliver is incredibly misleading. Baez batted .203 last year with a sub .600 OPS. He's hitting .245 this year. Sounds like you think Baez ought to STFU as well.

the chest pounding and celebration is fine "Look at me" behavior that i dont have an issue with. Like I said. It becomes showing a guy up once he starts screaming Fuck You at a guy who's not even looking at him. Same way I wouldnt like it if Rizzo digs a shitty throw out of the dirt to get a guy out at first and if he turned around and told the runner Fuck You.

As for the Baez image, I have no problem with it in that moment. Benches had cleared and he was sticking up for his teammate that had been shown up. Acceptable time to tell a guy to go fuck himself.
