This is what you've been watching for any Chicago sports team (including the Sox tonight) during the pandemic. Basically, when your team is on the road, the announce crew is watching a limited monitor feed from remote site, and the broadcast here is produced with just one or two other looks. Clearly, not traveling your announce crew and supplemental staff saves money, but Lord I hope this isn't the model for the future and it ends soon. Real soon |
