If Pippen and Durant guarded each other Pippen would get 15 and Durant would get 25. I don't see how that's a net gain for Pippen.

I loved watching Pip and wouldn’t want to get into a word or sentence feud with him, but I believe he wasn't educated on the situation at hand and he spoke. And so many people could have been harmed, not only financially but physically, emotionally, spiritually.

It’s a net gain since KD scores 45 against some other buster.

It really shows the greatness of Jordan in how he was able to overcome race to get the final shot most of the time.

But the point of the game is to outscore the opponent. There are five matchups on the floor. At least there were back when zones were illegal. If two guys guard each other and one guys scores more, that guy has done his job. Does anyone think in that situation Pippen would outscore Durant? Because I find the mere idea to be absurd.

By that logic, Dennis Rodman is one of the worst players in the Bulls dynasty because virtually every guy he guarded outscored him.
