Just what the world needs. An album's worth of campy and inferior Bee Gees covers.

I see Dave Grohl has entered the Frank Zappa/Ryan Adams phase of his career where every passing thought he has is worthy of an album. Great, as if there wasn't enough Foo Fighters dross already.

I was always fond of this Bee Gees cover: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sm8hk1mceNA

The biggest problem with disco was that it was better than the crap that's been presented ias "rock" music since the middle seventies.

Disco was at it's peak in 1978-79. I'd say rock was definitely not up to par and there were some yuk bands......but you can't call 1978-79 "crap when it gave is Van Halen's first two albums and Highway to Hell

PS....I actually like Disco

I like some Van Halen, but between the hair bands, ballad bands and the obsession with Springsteen I rarely enjoy most rock since then.

And I grew up a Pink Floyd, Bowie and Zepplin fan.

I watched a Bee Gees concert on PBS one time...I think it was One Night in Vegas or something like that. I have to admit...pretty damn good. I would have liked to have been there.

You realize that Bruce has created a lot of sit down/go get a drink clunkers when you go to one of his concerts...of course, his concerts are about 3 hours and he takes requests for half the show

This has been weighing on me for some time. I was one of the first in my group of friends to own the colour and the shape, had tshirts and have seen them life a few times. THAT SAID.....

.....Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters are largely one of the most overrated bands on the face of the planet. Their shows are marginally entertaining. There I said it. I've thought it for almost 20 years. heaps of largely forgettable music has been thrust into existence off the backs of Everlong and My Hero.

I wish he would of done that at the show I saw. Instead of requests he was sharing conspiracy theories between cuts off his new album. It was grim. I would of rather seen The Bee Gees.

I don't want to be the guy who cuts the legs out from under a good argument, but, in today's world, I really can't see how you can get so worked up by this topic. It's not 1977 and the only radio station in Chicago playing rock music is WLS and you have to sit through Crocodile Rock twice an hour. JUST DON'T LISTEN TO IT.

This guy is so fucking weird. Does anyone really want to see him play bedroom drums along with a Nirvana recording? Could you possibly be up your own ass more than Dave Grohl?

I guess it sounds cool, but I'd rather see an entire band and no recording at all.

That's not just weird, but sort of creepy and self-indulgent.
