They have gotten really bad and it's really annoying.

Can't watch anything anymore without being constantly interrupted.

11.99 a month for YouTube Premium is the best $12 you can spend if you do any amount of YouTube watching. Aside from zero ads, it gives you the ability to listen while your device’s screen is off and gives you YouTube music (in case you don’t already have Spotify or similar).

Agreed. I don't mind short commercials especially since I am not paying anything for the content but those 2-3 minute commercials are annoying.

I don't see any ads.. Get yourself Adblock and uBlock Origin plugins and a browser that supports those plugins.
