It’s the holidays. Nobody gives a shit.

It’s not a surprise that travel is hard during the holidays.

Get off all the news. A news story doesn’t help you or anyone else. You’ve made your choice.

I had no issues traveling to Will County today.

I can't ignore the President. I never ignore incredibly stupid things Presidents say. There are good people on both sides who think Omicron is a shithole virus.

I feel there's a movement to "just ignore" what this President has to say.

Along the same lines...

Its snowing in Chicago in late December. What a shock! You'd think this was Orlando or something with how the local news is treating this "storm"

I didn’t know it affected your shithole. Is there a booklet I could read on that?

The "For Him to Get" series of booklets are wiping out the "For Dummies" booklets.

Travel was difficult in North America in January during the holidays.

Just saw it on the news.

The A18 SkyClub in Atlanta is closed for renovations. My connection was A12 to A19. I had to have dinner at PF Chang's to avoid sitting with the commoners.

These times try those of us who aren't wealthy enough to fly private.

Same here. Almost as much as I can't stand the Atlanta airport.

I like it once in a while because they don't use MSG. And yes, it makes the Atlanta airport almost tolerable, I try to connect at Detroit whenever possible if I'm flying Delta and can't get a nonstop.

Please be aware that travel will be difficult this weekend due to the holiday. My guy told me.

You heard it here first.

Airfare is bordering on insane right now. Essentially paying double for the last couple flights that we paid for to the same places last year. Thankfully it is a light travel schedule for us this summer as opposed to some in the past.

Agreed, I was looking the other day and got sticker shock when I saw the prices.

Looking to book a flight to Texas. Just under $1,000.

It's typically about $300-400.

Looking at renting a van for a band mini-tour of the mid-west...prices are in the "Yikes!" realm at the moment.

My wife just paid over $600 round trip out of Milwaukee to see her daughter in Phoenix. Just booked a trip to Dallas for work in August and got it for under $600 but I went through corporate travel and pretty sure they get some kind of discount. That is a pretty common flight out of O'Hare.

And then when you show up to pick up the van they won't have one.

I ain't got a dime but what I've got is mine.

I ain't rich but Lord I'm free.

One of the great lyrics in country music.
