Gtfo with that shit!

If you drink so much that you have to go dry, you shouldn’t ever go back. Let the rest of us drown our miseries without shame. Anyway, it’s unpatriotic as the bars need our help now. Also, how do you not have a drink to celebrate king and presidents days

I had that new year's eve. It was good over ice. That night always ends up with bad drinking with the obligatory champagne toast, which invariably gives me a headache.

So far this 2022, I've consumed 2 glasses of Red wine. Not going dry intentionally...covid just kind of wiped out my interest in drinking.

I'm sure it'll be back soon enough.

I haven't had any alcohol. There are times I go months without having a drink but not due to any planned abstinence.

I didn't drink for about 2 months after I had it. No real reason other than I just didn't feel like it. I lost about 25lbs.

Well aware
But I went through Sunday NFL and a major meal prep without a drop. That's not like me.

I did one in January of 2020. It's pretty easy to do, but I think some of the alleged benefits of taking a month off have been oversold. Yes, not drinking for a month is probably good for you. However, it was also claimed that you would end up drinking less once you started again in February. While it does take a period of time for your tolerance to come back up, you quickly end up back where you were before January.

I agree with this.

First band practice of 2022 is tonight...this will be a good test to see if my interest in beer returns.
