It's only good to spend 2 or 3 a weeks year by choice but not to live there. Also, Southern Poverty. |

your guy Portnoy's looking for somewhere to chill for a few months until he can get new Miami digs. He can't go back to NY too much due to taxes. You should tell him about paradise-in-the-ozarks that is NW Arkansas. |

NW Arkansas seems to exist as a region wide company town. Their economic diversity relies on people doing different things to support one business best known for living on government subsidies and hollowing out middle America to get a couple bucks from the Chicoms. I suppose the university could float the region for a bit if the Waltons ever get tired of pretending to be hillbillies, but all the people who’ve flooded in recently will bounce on up to the Great Lakes Megalopolis once Lake Beaver is sucked dry. Book it. |

Nashville's probably more to his liking, especially if he's there during the height of bachelorette party season. and if he needs to get his adderall scrip(s) refilled, Nashville has plenty of pay cash and they ask no questions pill mill physicians. |

Find some locals or people who pretend to be locals to front a ‘Keep Lake Beaver Wet’ brand. It’s a pun, you see, and it speaks to the twin issues of climate change & gentrification that so animate the Californians moving to Waltonville. |

No bs, I think we could make some money creating a phrase that's defiant but also welcoming to new residents of NWA. We have our man on the inside to promote it. I'm sure there are non union sweatshops that will print the t shirts for cheap. Why leave those dollars out there for some hippie to rake in like they did in Austin? |

We already sort of have a hippie enclave in Eureka Springs and Fayetteville. Bentonville is too corporate so they stay away. |

Book it. The Waltons are pretty invested in the whole thing. This is currently under construction right now. https://corporate.walmart.com/newhomeoffice/campus-map https://www.armoneyandpolitics.com/new-walmart-campus/ The Walton grandkids have been setting up some hospitality businesses around town. This is what one of them is running now https://www.ropeswinggroup.com |

Bagels wrote:  I think a Hub Arkansas must that espoused Arkansas while speaking like Hub could have been good Hi, Hub. This is a three-part question. In response to your analysis of Dolphins-Chiefs last week, in which you said "guys, I gotta tell ya, there are a lot of naysayers around the league, but I'll be the first to say it, if you fry up a squirrel just right, that's good eatin'," is the quality of this fried squirrel, in your opinion, slap-your-mama good, or is it merely whoo-ee good? Second, dovetailing as nicely from slapping one's mother as one can, as domestic abuse appears to loom ever larger beneath the so-called Shield, how would you react if someone mistreated your daughter-niece? And as far as mistreatment goes, could the impending labor strife be good for the game, or are these outside socialist agitators simply trying to ruin a nice thing we have going here in a continuously growing community? Thanks, Hub. |
