Nothing quite as dumb as playing the MVP in a meaningless game. Extremely stupid.

He knows the refs will protect Rodgers.

They’ll play until Rodgers gets his 10th 4,000 yard season and Adams sets the Packers record for yards. Both should happen before halftime.

I agree with the OP - don't risk it. No hate

They claim they are worried about losing their edge by having too much time off. I guess they feel that they can hedge their bets by treating it like a preseason game (get in a few reps and then head to the bench). I’ll admit to being a bit concerned but I’ll defer to the players and coaches on this.

Yeah, I wouldn’t have him take 2 weeks off in a row either.

Simulate that during practice - go hard core, no tackling.

Nah, outraged fans and media know better and should dictate who plays

Yeah, like the Bears did that preseason they never played Mitch. That works.

Did Mitch suck because they didn't play him in the preseason? Or were they hiding him in the preseason because he sucked? Seems like it was the latter, not the former.

It a shot at the shitty Bears coaching staff in a Packers thread, it's okay just to nod.

They were both playing regardless so it’s not really point of discussion. Beyond that Bak was laughing on the sideline so I’m not sure that’s a particular concern. MVS has a back so we’ll see how that plays out after 2 weeks but he’s the 4th WR so that’s not a killer.

Edit: Bak is apparently fine.

Bahk was not hurt. He got his work in and got out. MVS had a back issue he has been dealing with flare up. He is the 4th wr and was playing in this game regardless. He will be fine.

How's this guy gonna gameplan his way to 10 points against a team that kept giving the ball right back to you.

This guy turned the carriage into a pumpkin for the second straight year. The future isn't going to get any brighter with Jordan Love as the QB next year. He's gotta go.

This team had the ball longer, had one more drive, generated more yards, and still didn't score more points vs a team that didn't even score a TD on offense at all.

Fox tv crew made it seem like he actually told them "I just hope our special teams doesn't screw up". That's a hell of a statement from a coach
