OK so I've been holding on to this for way too long

I drive from Darskide-land to the city...60601...many times a week (5 6 x's)...and then back again home on the Kennedy, Eisenhower, or the Edens...whichever based on travel times

So, every night (and you'll have to trust me that this is no exaggeration) I'll come upon a vehicle, that, despite looking late model, and despite having some sort of headlights functioning (DayTimeRunningLights?), has absolutely NO FUCKING TAIL LIGHTS...none whatsoever...its as if they are driving with the lights off

Please, tell me I'm not going crazy!

Ancillary to this is people who refuse to use their turn signals. When I am running or biking and approach an intersection the same time as a car from the opposite side, if there is no turn signal and no cars approaching from the left or right, I'll just keep going through the intersection without stopping.

Invariably there are at least two a day that all of sudden turn on their turn signal while at the same time flash me a dirty look as I run or bike through the intersection. Of course had the turn signal been activated 100 feet short of the intersection I would gladly yield the right of way.

The people who think they can park their car in the middle of the street while they run into the store simply because they turn on their flashers are the worst.

it's quite funny to me, because the problem is easily solved by having a photo sensor. my acura automatically turns the lights on/off... i never take the switch out of 'auto'. it works great.
