https://www.cnbc.com/2022/08/04/biden-a ... he-us.html Health Secretary Xavier Becerra’s emergency declaration will help mobilize more resources to fight the outbreak, which has spread swiftly since the U.S. confirmed its first case in May. The U.S. has confirmed more than 6,000 monkeypox cases over the past two months, more than any country in the world. The U.S. has distributed more than 330,000 vaccine doses and has ramped up testing, but lawmakers and local communities have criticized the pace of the response. Men who have sex with men are at highest risk right now, but anyone can catch monkeypox and the virus could start to spread more broadly. |

Let's have a meeting of the elders and throw the gays and the lepers out of the village. |

If having sex is the only way that one can contract it, I'm safe. The rest of you monkeys carry on... |

I hope DAC doesn't see this straight from the CDC. Of course the guidelines don't single out gay men, they just post a picture of them. Even if you feel well, here are some ways to reduce your chances of being exposed to monkeypox if you are sexually active: -Take a temporary break from activities that increase exposure to monkeypox until you are two weeks after your second dose. This will greatly reduce your risk. -Limit your number of sex partners to reduce your likelihood of exposure. -Spaces like back rooms, saunas, sex clubs, or private and public sex parties, where intimate, often anonymous sexual contact with multiple partners occurs—are more likely to spread monkeypox. -Condoms (latex or polyurethane) may protect your anus (butthole), mouth, penis, or vagina from exposure to monkeypox. However, condoms alone may not prevent all exposures to monkeypox since the rash can occur on other parts of the body. -Gloves (latex, polyurethane, or nitrile) might also reduce the possibility of exposure if inserting fingers or hands into the vagina or the anus. The gloves must cover all exposed skin and be removed carefully to avoid touching the outer surface. https://www.cdc.gov/poxvirus/monkeypox/ ... index.html |

Last year we shut down hospitals, schools, restaurants, several other businesses and services for covid and stigmatized the unvaccinated but we can't shut down sex parties because then people can't get off specifically the LBGTQ+ community. Go to the sex party have indiscriminate sex with people you don't know, that's approved behavior! The CDC can go fuck itself. |

it was on public radio that while 87% of cases involve gay men and sex, and the disease spreads from physical contact, you should still wear a mask. not joking. |

It's hilarious watching people avoid calling an obvious STD what it is because they can't offend the gays. |
