It's a sport best played by the limited of actual athletic talent and guys who are shit in real sports in this country. Or left to grade schoolers who will grow out of it. I hope that the U.S. team gets booted out of this bullshit tournament asap. It's a sport best played by foreigners...and women. |

Amen… And I love that the foreigners are increasingly playing baseball and basketball which are great sports. We have a European guy racking up 30 points and triple doubles every night and a Japanese guy pitching and hitting at Cy Young and MVP levels. |

Unless their husbands object. i guess. senegal got stuffed by holland today...not sure what lessons senegal can give. maybe one day fifa will change the rules and allow you to use a hand for every 10 yards or so. like the nba allows carrying and traveling now and the nfl changed the rules to encourage more scoring. that way, soccer will become more athletic. |

Messi dominates the sport and on size along likely couldn't play any major American sport besides maybe baseball or be a kicker in football.The most versatile athletes are basketball players. The hardest sport to play is probably hockey. I don't know if you can determine the best athletes in the world but if you could I don't think Messi standing in a room with the best people from all the other sports would ever be the one you choose. |

You're not really suggesting soccer players lack coordination, are you? If anything, American football players don't require coordination except at the position of receiver. Other than that it's fat guys protecting an arm and other fat guys trying to give the head of the arm a concussion. |
