Absolute worst. They love everyone and anyone from picks 1-20 will either have a "high ceiling" "All Star Potential". Whenever they do a comp on a guy it will always be in comparison to a guy that was A very good player, all star, or Hall of Fame Level guy. Their comp. Will be someone closer to Sabonis with Sacramento when they know that the guy is more Dalibor Bagarich.
Fran Fraschilla once famously said about a mid first round draft pick that he was "2 years away, from being 2 years away" and I don't think they ever brought him back. Every guy drafted will be hyped in some way. Even when they know that he sucks.

2 years away from being 2 years away is a great description of PAW.

I heard the Bulls are looking to draft a guy with a strong motor.

I agree with LTG. You don't have to say ____ is going to suck, but you also don't have to pretend he's headed to the HoF.

One NBA draft analyst was left with their jaw dropped with the No. 9 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft.

Yahoo Sports’ Krysten Peek took the first swing at how she felt about Purdue star Zach Edey entering the league after the Grizzlies took him in the first round.

“This is one of the worst picks I’ve seen in draft history,” Peek declared.

Ridiculous. At a minimum, Edey will have a long career as a serviceable backup, although I think he will be significantly better than that. There is no way he is going to be an absolute bust.

Who actually thinks they're draft experts? They're hot take entertainers.

that analyst gave almost everyone an A in the first round. And she gave the WORST PICK IN DRAFT HISTORY a D... what would it take to receive an F on her scale? drafting a dead person?

Sam Smith didn't have Matas Buzelis selected in the 1st round in his mock.

You’re correct as a Bulls fan though. No 2nd rd pick until 2028 iirc.

It comes on at like 2 pm. Just bring out the new Adam Silver and plow through one day of the draft.

Nope. And it's possible they will have to give up the 2028 2nd rd pick if they are bad enough to keep the protected 1st they owe San Antonio until then.

My apologies. I was looking around NBA draft.net and it showed they had a 2nd next year. They must be behind.

Actually he did. Top 5 I believe. Matas was a consensus top 5 pick prior to the start of his GLeague. I think scouts and Gms soured on after seeing him play against better competition down there than he would have received in college.

Looked over the grades by the "expert" for yahoo sports. 1 D in the first round and then the rest of the first and second round got all As or Bs

So fucking stupid.

Usually how it goes. And then in 4 or 5 years when 70% of the players are busts they are going to bash the Gms for drafting them.
