I was watching a six hour RFK Jr. interview on YouTube when an ad popped up extolling the virtues of a beer called Miller Lite. The ad boasted that Miller Lite “tastes great” and is “less filling” as compared to other domestically produced American lagers. Turns out this Miller company is selling us all a lie. After drinking a few dozen at a Jelly Roll concert this weekend, I can say with authority that this beverage neither “tastes great” nor is it “less filling” as was promised. I think this entire “advertising” thing needs to be monitored. |

I've had this argument before. Few means 3. It can't mean 2(couple) and by sheer instinct it doesn't mean 4. By saying you had a few dozen Miller Lites, and this is a perfect example, you've had 36, or a number close that can either be rounded up to 36, or rounded down to 36. 4 dozen Miller Lites isn't a few. Is there a proper term for a middling amount? Somewhere between a few and a shitload and/or fuck ton? |

I think you are just asking a bit much of a guy who just admitted drinking more than one dozen beers. |
