Jeffery Mark Leving, Chicago Mr. Leving, who was licensed in 1979, was suspended for five months, with the suspension stayed after 60 days by a two-year period of conditional probation. Between June 2014 and October 2021, Mr. Leving charged and collected excessive legal fees in eight domestic relations matters. The suspension is effective on October 11, 2024. |

I actually read the IARDC complaint against him. It was pretty egregious what his office was doing. They would basically burn through your retainer before even filing anything. |
