Police said Patrick E. McCarthy, 30, pushed a pupil into a wall, pushed one into a filing cabinet, forced one pupil onto a piece of gym equipment, and tied a pupil to a chair Abusing Special Ed kids. I hope that if this is true that there is a special place in hell for someone who would do this kind of thing. Fuckin shithead Douchebag. Tied a kid to a chair. You can't explain that away. |

As a father of two special needs children, I read stories like this and want to cry. I hope and pray my children will be able to be self sufficient. Part of the everyday struggle towards that goal are the teachers we have entrusted our children. They have our children for 1/3 of the time they are awake. Their impact cannot be underestimated. So when a teacher abuses that position, it is awful. When I hear of any teacher that does these things, I feel cold. It's a terrifying thought. |
