Post subject:  Will You Vote in the General Election?

I'm putting this here becuase we can't poll in General Discussion.
I'm curious how many will not vote in the General Election for any reason, political, ideological, perceived lack of a viable candidate.
Just vote, I'm not asking anyone to explain themselves.
Thanks,

I will vote.

And I think this is the appropriate forum for any political poll question.

Yes I will.
My vote will go to the first candidate who downsizes the federal government by eliminating their own position.

Depends on what else is on the ballot. IL is a lock for Obama so no point in going to the polls just to say I did.

you should still vote. If you don't like obama vote for someone else, even if you do a write in. And if you say obama is a lock, you could be wrong. He can say or do something really stupid before/after the party nomination (same for hillary) that could take his votes away and go to the other candidate.

Well the Democratic primary seems to indicate more people seem to be interested in politics then ever before.

I probably will, but I don't always. I voted in 2004 for Kerry but skipped the 2006 elections because I would have had to go through the absentee rigamarole and didn't care that much. None of the races were competitive in Illinois anyways. I would have voted for Topinka.

I plan to vote at least twice, and get a few more in by absentee.

that wasn't my point. Our delegates vote Blue. Doesn't matter if I agree with them or not...it's still Blue.
