Post subject: | Douchebag of the week 12/5 |
Well Chicago Sports Fans, it's Friday, I'm baked early and it's time for a Douchebag of the week poll. Two weeks ago I missed a DOTW poll becuase I was trying to kill defenseless animals, and last week I was in a turkey coma on Friday. Today, I'm only pretending to work, so here we go. Some of these candidates might be bleeding over from a couple weeks ago, at least the better nominations. So gird up your internet loins, fellow CSFMBers and vote today! okay now this is just , I can't decribe how I feel: well, since this nomination was made by chaspoppcap I am gonna go ahead and guess that the answer to that is "Horny". This nomination was about three young men who dug up a grave to have sex with the deceased. Spaulding points out that one person doing this is weird enough, but three? Are douchebags who dig up dead bodies to have sex with them douchebags, or just regular folks who probably post on sports related message boards? Vote today! People who talk about US car quality: Boilermaker Rick it tired of people trash talking those great American cars. Everyone know that an American car built between 1970 and 1998 is probably a pile of junk, but Boilermaker wants you to give the American car another chance... a $24,000 second chance, or you are a douchebag for allowing previous trouble with a company keep you from doing business with them again. Granted, the American car is going the way of the Great Plaines Buffalo, once mighty herds thundered across the plaines in search of roadside entertainment and greasy burgers, but has now been hunted to near extinction by Toy Yoda. Anyway, should you try an American car again? If so, vote here today! The CEO's of the Big 3: Chus thinks that the CEO's are responsible for the downturn of the American auto industry and that their scapegoating and wastefulness are douchebagworthy. These guys flew private planes to beg for money. Douchebag points out that they should have driven down there in a Volt, which, incidently, they did do this week, meaning that these CEO's of one of the largest manufacturing companies in America read a guy named "Douchebag". Are these guys douchebags for begging for money while historically providing an inferior product? Vote today...! Stephon Marbury: Bagles nominated this young man for pullin a Pip. Kid Cairo was curiously quiet on this NBA related douchebag nomination. Food for thought. Anyway, in a shorthanded situation, Marbury refueses to take the court. No migraine to blame, to my knowledge. So when even Elmhurst Steve can't justify someone's douchebag behavior, you have to give it serious consideration. So, vote today if you think this kind of this is douchebaggy. Andy Reed: Well, shit I guess I had to include one of Nas's nominations eventually. He has complained about it more than once. In this case though, he has made an outstanding nomination, Andy Fucking Reed. What's his middle name? Pulling their starting QB to "make a statement". Not as stunning as the statement made by that starting QB the week before, but still, crazy right? Who does that with the playoffs within reach? On the other hand he had like 60 yards on 8 completions (18 attempts) and had two INT's. Who's the douchebag here? Bloodsucking Attorneys: After the tragedy of losing a 17 year old son in a strange drowning accident, the family has sued Algonquin Camp for nearly a million dollars. Jagr Bomb seems to think that this is more of the attorney at work, while Johnny Chimpo and others have blamed the family. This devloved into a fascinating argument between Nas and like a gang of 6 rogue posters. Anyway, are the attorneys douchebags for taking the case (or promoting it) and going after the camp? Can a 3-year-old qualify?: C_Howitt_Fealz witnessed a three year old drop her pants and pee, twice, within O'Hare. Now that's a lotta pee. Fealz must have never been to a remote with Crystal Lake Hoffy if he found this behavior distrubing. That being said, Fealz makes a good point here, but is he pointing that douchebag at the wrong party? Could the parents be to blame? Incidently, this is not the youngest douchebag nominee we've had, I believe that Bigfans Nephew was younger. Redneck From Arkansas Suing McDonalds: Magic 1 is back with his smack, and he's brought us the story of a young redneck who left a cell phone at MickyD's. This phone contained noodie pictures of his wife, and once these pictures made it to the internet, he's sued....McDonalds??? Listen, Darko's Law of Porno Picture Distribution clearly states that the probability of a noodie picture being seen by unintentional viewers is nearly 100%, particularly when compounded by losing the media upon which it is stored. Is this guy a douchebag? Tell us! Plainfield McDonald's: Slap Shot Ed needs two packets of dressing, ok? And since he ordered it, and it showed up on the board, he don't want no 'tude from the dude with the food, cause that makes Slappy less than happy. It turns out that he ends with with complimentary dressing, so why's he stressing? Ok, if this situation was worthy of a nomination, after careful contemplation, vote here. Urlacher: Wowie. Two of Nas's nominations in the finals! Ok, BU is being nomiatiated for painting his son's toenails and making him wear girlie diapers. Problem with this nomination is that Urlacher's Douche status has been confirmed for quite some time, and additional douchebag behavior tends now to warrant only a shoulder shrug. Beardown calls it goofy fun. Nas seems to think this might turn this child homo. So, is Urlacher a douchebag? I mean because of this stuff with his son? Black Friday Shoppers: While sites such as "consumerist" have long chanted "Death TO Wal Mart", this isn't what they had in mind. Darren - Tinley Park brings us the tragic story of the young man trampled to death by a mob of WalMartians who could not friggin wait to get the new Guitar Hero, or GI Joe or whatever the new stupid toy is. Personally, I am predicting a runaway here on this nomination. No Suzy Pees-a-lot doll is worth some dude's life. Pitiful. Anyhow, vote today here if you feel this is douchebag behavior. Drivers on the Road After Snow: Ugueth Will Shiv You wants to know if you're fucking kidding him. Yes, he hates slow drivers after the snow. We're not talking big snow here, just these little 3 inch squalls that really don't affect the roads. He also hates the drivers after any snow, it seems, because they should know how to drive in this crap by now. There were dissenting opinions, and someone even mentioned a hazardous waste ticket if you can imagine it. Plaxico Burress: Nas! Wholly Shit! Three approved nominations! You're on FIRE! For THREE! YES! Anyway, Nas nominated Plax because he managed to shoot himself in the leg, carrying an illegal concealed weapon. Some of the posters were glad he managed to shoot himself superficially, instead of killing some innocent bystander. We even got treated to Cozstansa saying it was inappropriate to laugh at Plax because he could have killed someone (douchebag nomination for this possibly forthcoming). Anyway, is Nas's nomination SOLID? Richie Daley: Here's another guy we just come to expect douchebag behavior from. Deacon Blues nominated him today for the privitization of the parking meters which will, at best, quadruple parking meter fees, with annual increases! Daley is selling off Chicago's assets for a pile of money that will soon be as depleted as our piles of salt this year. Is this new action douchebagworthy? Please let us know by casting your vote! United Health Care: Darren - Tinley Park makes another nomination at his healthcare insurance provider for demanding an more expensive, riskier procedure to treat his son that a newer one that is available today. It's hard to disagree with this nomination, but here's yet another nominee from whom we expect douchebag behavior. Are these health insurance drones douchebags for this? Vote today! Indiana Planned Parenthood: The Perfect Stocking Stuffer!: Frank Cozstansa nominates This group for offering planned parenthood gift certificates as Christmas Gifts. Now, they do offer other services such as pap smears, and breast exams, but they also sell a half a million birth control units. They also, apparently, offer abortions. What are we telling the person we give this to? "Here, go Ho it up on me"? Is this worthy? VOTE! Ok, folks, this was about 3 weeks of douchebags to go thru. I hope you've found your go-to nominee, and that you promptly exercise your right to vote on douchebag behavior. |

Since it's personal, I had to vote for UHC. If they weren't nominated, I would have voted for the Black Friday shoppers. (Notice I picked the two that I nominated ). |

I have a problem with people who talk about US car quality without doing their homework. You are free to buy from whoever you want, just don't bash American cars unless you have researched them and maybe even given a few of the higher rated ones a test drive. |

Well, it was meant as an opinionated satire of the original nomination. Don't feel too bad here, pal, I do my best to misrepresent most of the nominations within the DOTW poll. You're not a snowflake. |

I guess Boonville is part of the "Real America" Mrs. Palin was talking about... |
