Good morning, CSFMB. It’s Friday and it’s time to vote for some douchebags. Last week we awarded our very own CSFMB for its repeated crashes, slowness and general errors. We also gave a week to Steve Stone, who piled a bunch of crap onto the Cubs for the way they’ve handled Colvin and other matters. Congrats, CSFMB and Steve, you are going to the 3rd quarter Semifinals! WOOT! This is a two week poll, so vote for your top two douchebags please! Here’s the nominees for this week: Eddy Curry: I never thought at the time that I would miss Curry, but I have. Nas has nominated him for his poor credit history, even while making some pretty good money. Turns out he defaulted on a $500k+ loan while making $10 million a year. Interesting to note that he was paying something like 85% interest on that loan. Oh another funny thing, Curry was thinking that since his contract was up after this season that would mean that he didn’t have to pay. Good stuff. People who charge their GF to cat sit: conns7901 made his nomination in the wake of CatGate 2010 where a poster who shall remain nameless Crosscheck appeared to have charged his lady friend $10/hr for watching the cat while she was away on business. This issue didn’t exactly have its own thread, it actually happened in Drinky Board, but that didn’t diminish its lasting impressions. Does that $10/hr include scooping cat poo? Does it include cuddling? Was there a timeclock? Did he wear Crocs while at the GF’s house? Some parts of this will never be answered, but we’re still curious if people who charge their GF’s are douchebags. Randall Cunningham: Yikes. This one is pretty sensitive. Jalapenos and More nominated Cunningham for creating the conditions that allowed his 2 year old to drown in a hot tub. Granted he wasn’t home, the child was in the care of another adult charged with watching Cunningham’s and other’s children. This is a pretty sad story, and more sadly one we’ve heard many times before. PUSSIES: And here we go. Bigfan lashes out against those who took offense to his retailiation against a board member who used his avatar when CSFMB won last week’s DBOTW poll. Biggie went and hacked into Douchebag’s account, changed his avatar to that creepy dude that burned his sons, made a post in his name and then gave the keys back to Douchebag. This has reverberated around CSFMB, with many protest avatars being used by guys like BR, Evil, DB and others. Was Bigfan out of line on his own board, or is he free to DB the guys who dicked with him after he did what he had to do? Gin: My Coach Vinny has a headache from the Elixir of Juniper Berries. Gin tends to be a delicious drink, wonderful with a blue cheese stuffed olive and a dash of Dry Vermouth or with tonic and a lime. We’ve all had too much of a good thing though. It will be decades before I can drink Black Haus again. That shit done fucked up a darko. Chicago Bulls (Jerry, John, Gar): Rogers Park Bryan says you suck. He says shut out. And you were. There were three top free agents going into this summer and you got none of them. After trading away enough cap to get top max contracts, after OVERPAYING for Boozer, ya got a whole lotta nada. Does the management team of the Bulls deserve the nomination this week? You decide. BigFan: Yikes. Biggie was nominated by a mult that has since faced the firing squad but was most likely Douchebag for changing his avatar and locking him out of his own account. Bigman has his own side of the story, that someone was trying to send him a message and confused accounts. Does Bigfan’s story hold water? Was Douchebag out of line? You can only speak with a vote. And of course, replies and also spoken word, but you should vote anyway, because that would be cool. LeBron James: HOVA nominated King James for his attention whoring. James had a one hour special dedicated to saying something that his agent should have just released in a press statement. Word is he is just loving the attention he’s getting, and that this whole production has been planned for months. Wait until the accusations come that he wasn’t concentrating on the playoffs because he was planning this douchebaggery. Was LeBron a douchebag over his attention whoring? ESPN: Northside_Dan nominated the Booyah for participating in the James one hour “special”, even going so far as to call it “The Decision”. Really? Is it really that important? Well it is to ESPN who has descended thru the ranks from journalism to simple sensationalism, parodying themselves the whole way down. Do they deserve this nomination? By the way, going to be out next weekend, heading out to Grand Rapids to catch an Umphrey's McGee show. Is anyone willing to guest host DBOTW next weekend for me? |

Should be a 50/50 split but 40/40 will work for my moniker. |

You guys let ESPN off easy. But I am really happy that LeBron won one of the two awards this week. |

I voted for LeBron and ESPN. ESPN had to get a vote not only for the sensationalism, but also for having the balls to let many of their analysts rip on LeBron for having a 1 hour tv special. Their hypocrisy knows no bounds. The Bulls aren't DBs at all IMO. The three assholes in Miami fooled everyone. They were never goin anywhere but together. I think the Bulls did about as good as could be expected considering. |

Voted for Lebron and the Bulls. Lebron was a no brainer for the week and Paxson gets one as a lifetime achievement award for his tenure as Bulls GM. |
