Has there been any legitimate reports that Dempster is actually holding up the trade?

If the Braves are on the OK list, then when a deal is worked out with them, it should be done.

If it's the refusal of an extension that is holding it up, then I don't blame him.

I was with you until this...he has been the Cubs most consistent pitcher over the last several years. There is no reason to dislike him.
