They wear their hats crooked. They wear the stupid flat bill caps. They point at the sky when they do good (not when they fail). They do the cross thing on their torso (like Ozzie did) before they bat. Its fun to watch them play because i think they are better now than ever. The japan/panama game today was excellent with clutch hitting and spectacular defense. Its too bad they all watch Major Leaguers do all of this stupid shit and they feel they have to emulate them. Its too bad I'm old and bitter. |

Kids emulating MLB players. Wow that never happened |

The thing that's always bothered me about kids playing baseball is aluminum bats. I think there would be a lot less injuries and no need for a defibrillator at every field if they used wood bats. |

I am kind of a stickler for proper uniform wearing with my players. Still, there are a handful of kids that when you tell them to pick up a bat it takes them five minutes to get ready putting on batting gloves and assorted shit. Then there are the ones who want to try to bunt in an age group where most contact to the left side of the infield usually results in a hit. |

Was watching the game last night between Texas and Tennessee. A player on Tenn. had to duck out of the way from a wild inside pitch. At first the umpire couldn't tell if the batter had been hit or not, but then the kid started rubbing his shoulder as if he had so he was awarded first base. Kid proceeded to rub his shoulder, then his elbow as he stood on first base. Instant replay showed absolutely zero contact from pitch-on-arm. Ball never touched him. Kid played it off like a pro. Literally. |

I'm reporting everyone who says they watched this on TV to the Police. |

Think of it this way. Let's say you show up to some random park and begin watching Little League baseball. You are not related to any of the kids on the field. Do you think some people there would find that to be extremely odd and creepy? Now how is that any different than watching it on TV? |

ESPN should definitely be thrown into jail for aiding and ebedding pedophiles. |

Douchebag, you and I look at things differently. Just because people take an interest in kids sports doesn't mean everybody is a pedophile, even though B&B will tell you different. Have a good day. |

The game doesn't feel real when they're not playing on a regulation size field. |

Instead of a home run on the other field they would fly out to the third basemen. |

Show up at some random field and start watching the little kiddies play ball. I'd say you would be luckly to come home without a black eye. |

DB, I get your point, but then your implying that watching sports has a sexual connection. I don't go to random field because there is no routing interest. But the LLWS is pretty cool to see who will come out on top. Is that any different than watching young Olympians? |

I, having zero connections to any of the kids, showed up to a couple postseason games to support him. Does that make me creepy? I chatted up some of the parents, saying I was there to support a good friend from college. Surprisingly, none of them blackened my eye! |
