My ex-wife dated this piece of garbage for awhile, God knows why.

(She is not the girlfriend in this story) He was also arrested last year for breaking into her apartment and destroying property. I'll say it first, only in Indiana.

UNION TOWNSHIP | A Union Township man was arrested Tuesday on allegations he repeatedly abused his live-in girlfriend and threatened her throughout the day on Sunday.
Police said their investigation also led them to an indoor marijuana growing operation in the man’s home.
Mitchell Bales, 33, 738 W. County Road 50 North, faces charges of intimidation and strangulation, both felonies, along with misdemeanor charges of domestic battery and resisting law enforcement.
Police said his girlfriend told them the pair argued about finances on Sunday, and the fight turned physical when Bales struck her in the neck, pushed her down and kicked her. Several hours later, the two argued about the use of the woman’s car, and police said Bales struck her on the head with a TV remote control with enough force to break the device.
According to the police report, he continued the attack by jumping on top of her, squeezing her neck then throwing her to the ground. Later he grabbed her by the mouth and her cheeks spreading them as far apart as they would go, then head-butted her.
After further punching her, the police report states, Bales then threatened to kill her if she ever tried to leave him.
Police said the woman went to work and back home on Monday. Then, on Tuesday, Bales made repeated threats to her over the phone as she traveled home from work. It was then she decided to call police.
Police said the woman had a swollen forehead and bruising on her arms, chest stomach and legs.
When officers went to Bale’s Union Township home to question him, he responded to their knocking by agreeing to come down and open the door.
According to the report, as officers waited for Bales to open the door, they could see him running through the house holding marijuana plants.
Officers then kicked in the door and found “multiple rooms were being used to cultivate and grow marijuana,” according to the police report.
Sgt. Larry LaFlower said Bales was not immediately charged in connection with the marijuana found in his house, but that the Porter County Drug Task Force would take over that part of the investigation to pursue possible charges.
Bales denied being at home on Sunday, telling police he actually lived in a condominium in Hammond. According to the police report, he told investigators he went to church, but couldn’t name the church or denomination, then watched the Bears game with friends at various taverns.
Police said Bales would not answer questions about his employment, but told police he receives payment from renters, although he could not remember where his apartments are.
