30 to 60 years? That's it? I don't care his old he is.

Should they keep his corpse in prison to keep you happy, simpleton? He will die in jail. Even if he was paroled in say 45 years, that makes him 113 years old.

Should be a lot worse. His statements are disgusting. Shark posted the link in the B&B section.

Michael Sisak ‏@cvmikesisak
The sentence, Judge Cleland told Sandusky, has the "unmistakable effect of saying you will spend the rest of your life in prison."

He was convicted on 45 accounts. That's an average of 6 mo to a year and a few months for each count. I don't know if that is max or what each charge holds but it hardly seems just.

Post subject:  Re: Sandusky sentence

What's the point of giving him 1000 years? Would that be any more of a deterrent/punishment? He's going to die in jail. Much shorter than 30 years if he's ever in the general population.

Post subject:  Re: Sandusky sentence

What is just though? The guy will die in jail. No way his appeal will over turn anything. He's 68, so odds are even if he were given 20 years he would rot in jail for the rest of this life....and godwilling he will burn in hell for the rest of his next life.

If you would support or watch something like this, you are even more deranged than I thought you were. Are we living in Saudi Arabia?

You're right. We shouldn't torture this man. That's no way to treat a multiple decades child sexual predator.

I can't seem to find in the articles I have read so far what the sentencing guidelines were. I am interested to know if somehow the judge had his hands tied?

Hey I don't agree with what he did, but I also don't agree with putting bamboo shoots in his fingernails. He will get his in jail and when he meets his maker.

Torturing a man who tortured children for years makes you just as bad of an individual.

Do what you want though. Let's lower ourselves to the rest of third world muslim nations around the world that do this kind of stuff. I don't really feel like living in a country where getting stoned is bad thing.

Bamboo shoots in his fingernails is a little tame. Can you imagine the revenue from a live show of an inmate ending this guys life?

The biggest, worst, and most compounded problem in this country are stupid people like you and cubbiegirl. The stupidity that you and cgs put on display here almost daily pails in comparison to the economy, gay marriage, unemployment, immigration, etc etc etc etc.

You are entitled to your opinion.

I for one happen to believe that we do not do near enough for victims in this country and that people that prey sexually on children are the lowest form of scum on the planet. Merely putting them in a cell is not my idea of retribution.

Didn't he take these kids across state lines? Oh yea, we can't have the Feds sentence him to death.

That would violate his rights.

Give me a fucking break.
