So Mr. Stairs and his SO attended a Halloween party at a friend's house last night, a dozen people had RSVP'ed and I spoke to a few who indicated that they would indeed be attending the party. We arrive around 8 and are the only ones there, which is fine as we expect people to filter in throughout the night. Time goes by and only two other couples show up. Of the eight people who didn't show only one had the decency to call and offer a half-assed explanation of why they couldn't attend. How is it possible that seven mother fuckers don't understand the concept of human courtesy? Not one text or phone call from any of these asshats.

Absolutely agree. Common courtesy is a thing of the past. Rudeness is in. Same category as running a red light, not using a turn signal....etc.

That turned out to be a bad idea to post because it really pushed me into the retard zone .... after I wrote it, it was time for my nightly injection, and long story short I did a pretty good job of fucking it up, likely because I was reviewing my post to help pass the time and it made me much dumber than usual.
