I don't think Greenberg meant to say "coon", I think he just accidentally merged "king" and "junior" causing him to say "kun-" before correcting himself to say "King, Jr." Really more of a slip of tongue than a slip of racism.

I wouldnt say it's acceptable. If he repeatedly did it I would sit him out a few plays to think about it. I really dont think its a big deal as a one time slip up. I think it'd be a big deal coming from Skip. Obviously there's a double standard in place with that word.
