Yes, I think the guy is complete dirt. If you heard his GF's first testimony, you should agree.

So, on suspension he makes a video and few other comments.

One reason Goodel used to hold AP out was that AP didnt seem truley remorseful and while that is a complete arbitrary and sometimes bullshit way to determine these issues, its part of it and I think we can all agree Greg Hardy ISNT remorseful.

I think you can almost count on him doing something else in the future that will get him suspended or landed in prison.

Prison seems to be a better option for him.

Maybe Sara Spain can interview him?

He's a guy that is easy to root against if he isn't on your team.

He is a guy that is easy to root against even if he is on your team. He shows no remorse and continues to say incredibly dumb stuff.

Didn't he get into a brawl on the first day of camp with the Cowboys?

I would support Hitler if he was on my team so I'm sure that I would find a way to support Hardy.

“Anybody that lays a hand on a woman, I don’t care who you are my friend, you never come back in this league. But Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones in his desperation to get a pass rusher said, ‘You know what America, Cowboys fans, he’s alright, he’s a good boy and we’re going to get him all straightened out over here.’ [Hardy] has his first news conference and he makes a fool of himself and then Jerry comes out and basically becomes an enabler himself. This is wrong. We have no place for this and I’m actually tired of talking about the Hardy’s of the world. I seriously hope that eventually we never have a place in the NFL for people that strike women.” - Terry Bradshaw

Props to Bradshaw and all, but it's a depressing commentary about the NFL, and probably sports in general that this, 1.) needs to be said, and 2.) is considered newsworthy and being outspoken.

Dovetailing off of Hardy, here's an alleged account about how a similar situation under Trestman lost him the Bears' locker room ... I'd say it was sooner than that, but it's something to read for a couple of minutes.

http://deadspin.com/report-marc-trestman-lost-the-bears-when-he-rewarded-a-1739170512

The real controversy over Greg Hardy is not his actions on the sideline, but the Cowboys’ treatment of it. He freaked out for a couple of minutes, as players do in the heat of a game. But whereas many observers saw it as a loss of control, the Cowboys portrayed it as leadership. That’s the sort of spin that can backfire if the rest of the locker room isn’t on board.

Jason Garrett said Hardy was merely trying to motivate his teammates; Jerry Jones called him “inspirational.” There’s a tendency in a sport as intense and violent as football to conflate passion with genuine anger, and former Bears head coach Marc Trestman failed to walk that line last season, according to a report from Bleacher Report’s Mike Freeman.

The report concerns veteran DT Jeremiah Ratliff, who was released last week in an ugly scene that saw him have to be physically escorted by security out of the building. According to one player who was there, Ratliff had a similar blow-up in a practice session before the final game of last season, and was told by coaches he wouldn’t be allowed to practice. Upon freaking out, Ratliff was asked to leave. Then he came back, pissed.

Practice was stopped and most players went off to the side while a small group of players and coaches tried to calm Ratliff down and get him to leave.

It didn’t work initially. Ratliff destroyed the game clock on the practice field, smashing it and kicking it. Later, he shoved an assistant coach to the ground. While all of this went on, Trestman never intervened. He just stood off to the side and watched.

And this is the most incredible part. The uber-enabling part. Not only was Ratliff never punished by Trestman...he was named one of the captains the next day. The entire locker room was incredulous.

Trestman justified making Ratliff a captain by saying he brought intensity, but no player bought that
The player-witness told Freeman that this is what caused Trestman to once and for all lose the respect of the locker room. Trestman was fired the morning after the Bears’ last game. (He is now the Ravens’ offensive coordinator.)

Freeman makes the obvious point that this is the kind of shit a team will put up with from a talented player. Ratliff, a four-time Pro Bowler, got away with things until he wasn’t good enough to anymore. Hardy is probably the best player on the Dallas defense—it’s going to take a lot more than a sideline meltdown to sour the Cowboys on Hardy. (And his actions certainly don’t compare to Ratliff’s.) But the question is how the Cowboys players, including the ones that Hardy pushed and berated, will feel about the coach and owner praising him for it.

Why do people even care about the personal lives of these players? It is not like I am related to them. I would not let Lawrence Taylor anywhere near anyone I loved, but damn he was a hell of a player.

That is all I care about.

You know...I don't really wish ill on anyone, but if this fuck were to be paralyzed from the neck down while on the field, I would cheer.

In fact, I would hope this would happen in Philly....because you know those fuckers would cheer too

read the transcript on his hearing with the NFL today. First, need to consider it is his side of the story, but she seems to admit to agree to most of it.

She flat out stalked Hardy after a 4 month relationship and she sounds nuts, but Hardy is far from blame.

he met her because he was first sleeping with her roomie. So, right there, you know things are never going to go well.

He pays for her to go to Hawaii and gets her a room, but doesnt do anything with her except for 2 sex sessions. Now, if she understands the arrangement, good for him, but it is pretty evident she thought she was going to Hawaii for the pro bowl with him...he didnt see it that way.

I think they then flew into NYC and when switching planes, he dumps her, gives her the ticket back to Carolina and says good bye. Going for the clean break.

yet, when he gets back to Carolina, he doesnt date her, but hooks up with her a number of times just for Sex. Once again, good for him....but COME ON MAN!!!!

The night in question, he brings her back to his place, long long story, but claiming he isnt going to bang her...many other people involved in the night....BUT COME ON! If your intent is to remove this person from your life you cant keep fucking her!!!!!!!! or bringing her back to your place...dont care if it was because she was with other people that your friend wanted to bang (Thats his reason that night for her there)

End of story, he tells everyone to leave and she wouldnt. The argue, she starts slapping him, hitting him with her shoe. She is 5'4" 130. Hardy is 6'4" 290...my mom used to hit me with a shoe when I was little. Then one day in HS she got all pissed and took off the shoe and hit me...I didnt flinch and dropped a "Come on man",,,,,because you cant tell me a drunk girl at 5'4" 130 is doing anything with her fists to endanger him.

Hardy calls 911 asking for assistance, Hardy gives the recount of everything she is doing.

80% of this is on the chick. She wouldnt leave him alone. he wanted almost nothing to do with her, except use her for a quickie, but other than that, he did nothing for her....and she just pushed him to the point that he smacked her a few times.

Bottom line is, short of being in a true life threatning situation, you cant smack her. End of story. he was pushed too far and he snapped.

Well of course it hasn't ... why in the high holy hell would anyone's opinion of Hardy change barring the caveat you state?

I never said mine did. When Hardy first went with the nutty persona (but otherwise didn't seem normal like John Randle), I really stopped following him.

I am curious as to how some that absolutely adore Ronda Rousey(with her own admitted episode of domestic violence) but wouldn't piss on Hardy if he were on fire react to this.

I admit that there is definitely a double standard for women. I'm guilty of excusing domestic abuse from women.

Its PART of the question in this case. Not even a question the girl was hitting Hardy..was it doing anything to him? Going to say way less than he engages in every Sunday...but thats my guess, just as anyone else.

Bottom line - Hardy should have left. I know its his place, but he brough the girl to his place, he then just should of left. problem solved.
