Not only are slow short sales clogging up the healing process, they are discouraging buyers from bidding on such properties. I looked at a few properties for investment but decided it wasn't worth the hassle of working with slow bankers. |

I have one they refuse to even sell! lol It has been vacant for 6 years, filled with mold, it is a very nice part of the city and they wont even take an offer on it! Nobody even knows why it is not listed, or even if they really own it....but they have been paying the taxes on it! Bottom line is that there is no incentive for anyone at these banks to work on these properties, so they just sit.... CHASE, B of A, have billions in property just laying around doing nothing and they cry to the Pres they need to increase rates and fees to make money. Obama makes them cut credit card rates, but as an example them lets them go from $25 to $37.50 for NSF checks, or overdrafts. Pretty sure it is not the people making over $250K paying those fees! |
