The team announced Wednesday that Rachal had left the team because of personal reasons. The Bears elevated guard/tackle James Brown from the practice squad to take Rachal's roster spot.

Rachal signed a one-year, $700,000 contract with the Bears in April after spending four seasons with the San Francisco 49ers.

Rachal has five days to report back to club. If he doesn't, he officially will be placed on the reserve/left team list and ineligible to play the rest of the season.

I bet they wish they had Chris Williams now that one guard went section 8, and Carimi is benched.
