That's not entirely true -- you have to account for the odds of multiple winners and the reduction in the jackpot payout in a split. Yesterday, you had Arizona and Missouri both splitting the jackpot, making it a $290M payout which puts it closer to even money value (guesstimating that the smaller payouts would make up the difference.)
