Enough.

My internet hasn't been the same since the tragedy that took place on 12/14/12 in Newtown. What was once a place for me to escape, forget about my worries and browse for the occasional wine fridge has mutated into some kind of fucked up reality news source. Facebook is no exception.

What happened to my status updates about the newest golf driver to hit the market, or whose boyfriend is sleeping with whose mother, or humorous Christmas cartoons starring Santa Claus in compromising positions? And for the love of everything holy, can a brother... oops, I mean white American (sorry Spmack; one love) get a chain letter post? How am I supposed to prevent bad things from happening to my love life if I can't forward a chain letter to my friends list?

But no; instead, I see update after update of family members and close friends sharing positive, encouraging messages of hope and remembrance for those who died Friday morning. I see bipartisan support for President Obama for his emotional address to the nation last night.

What is this bullshit? None of that has any place on my Facebook wall, dammit.

Give me back my Double Down Slots and Farmville updates, or I'm going to raise hell.

All I want back is the important stuff, you know?

I'm ready to start unfriending motherfuckers. You were no closer to that tragedy then I was. But i dont have kids, so i don't "get it." Fuck you ya patronizing asshole. I think we all agree it was horrible. You're really going out on a limb with those statements. STFU!!!
