IF you know anything about the NFL,this happens every year on this day. He should have known better as a program director.

Waddle and Cutler have a great give-and-take chemistry. Always enjoyable.

I've always said it was strange for WSCR to put it's B team on the field over the holidays, when there are probably more people listening at home and in their cars than during the normal days. They continue taking off into January, one of the high seasons of sports activity with major bowls and football playoffs.

I would think the cycle should be to require vacations to be held until February, the absolute most dead month of sports and a time when many listeners are away on vacations.

Thank you. I said this before: holidays are a good time to attract new casual listeners. Not the time to run shows with producers, update guys and reporters.

That's McNeil's call. It's his show. He should have been on. Mully and Hanley were there.

Doesn't McNeil get about 3 months of vacation every year?

Quite odd. It's not even the "NFL guy" that called in.

I laughed on Friday when Spiegs and Hub both agreed that there was no conceivable way that they could see Minnesota winning vs. Green Bay.

Those are your football experts.

During transition today Bensie made it a point to go out of his way and say that he wanted to be here today because of what would be happening with the Bears because if Lovie were fired or not, either way it would be a big story.

I wonder if that was a not-so-thinly veiled shot at McNeil (and even at Boers)?

I don't think we'd be hearing anything especially new or refreshing from any of the regular hosts.

Not likely. Les has his shift covered. Yahoo sports or Les? Pretty simple is it not?

Probably so. Terry at this point just wants a paycheck and a damn good one at that. He could give less than a flying fuck. I do not blame him. As we often say he earned this right to choose and if WSCR allows it so be it.
