This wouldn't have happened if the women had guns. Then the police would've been afraid to shoot them. |

Yeah, I was drawn to the manifesto as well. Its interesting and awful at the same time. |

I'm still (and probably forever will be) confused as shit how exactly a group of cops not only unloaded on the wrong type of vehicle and the wrong color of said vehicle, but also mistook two Asian women for one 250lb black man. And who's going to pay for that mistake? Nobody. No big deal. Police business. Go on your way citizen. Be thankful it wasn't you. It's a fucking disgrace. |

I mean, look how many times those asswipes unloaded into that vehicle ..... how is that not punishable in the severest terms? And Bri, you are right .... and perhaps the most unfortunate occasion in this whole saga is that the fella chose to blow away innocents - I understand that's going to truly and inarguably inflict the most pain in the person he feels deserves it, but it makes it virtually impossible to give him any quarter at this point. I mean, even if somehow or another this turned into a "The Negotiator" type deal where he proves everything he stated and more, and even whacks some assholes in the process, it goes back to killing two kids that had nothing to do with anything, so any good is sure to be nullified entirely by that dumbfuck choice. |

KDdidit wrote: It's too bad there's probably no way he lives to get to a trial, would like to hear what he has to say. Yup .... if he walked out into the middle of a park naked hands over his head and fell to his knees unarmed and absolutely no threat to anyone, he'd be riddled with bullets until he was a pile of beef jerky. |

I forgot about "The Negotiator" That movie was on almost as much as Shawshank for a few years there. Irrespective of any punishment or justice, Im interested in what the hell led them to just start shooting the fucking car |

It truly is a miracle neither of them were killed, and I am assuming the police department will pay them enough they won't have to worry about delivering anymore papers. |

They just have to be worried about being gunned down by inept cops because apparently LAPD thinks there is only one FIRE BLUE PICKUP TRUCK in all the world |

And let's say that it made sense to them that it was the Killer in the car (Dont see how, but let's pretend) If you see two people in the truck....wouldnt you have to assume one of them is a hostage? Why would you just shoot? |

They coach was the daughter of the former LAPD honcho or something. You are correct .... I guess I was speaking from an "outside" point of view. Intellectually from his pov I can see how one might well reach the conclsion that doing so was the best course of action. But like RPB said, I find it just as compelling - if not in fact morese - why the shoosting of that truck occurred. I mean, there's actually no good reason regardless, but maybe they're on edge, maybe they were sppoked, maybe they're just above the law in their minds and the ends justify the means, maybe it's maybeliene. |

So they are just going around shooting on cars that match the description of the suspects? Shoot first, ask questions later!! |

Not to diminish the dumbfuckery of the lapd, but apparently the officers who shot up the old lady asians delivering newspapers were just assigned to a security detail in that area for a high-ranking law enforcement official named as a targert in "christopher jordan dorner /7648"'s manifesto. |

Keeping Score wrote: And it wasn't the only blue pickup they fired upon: Quote: In Torrance, LAPD officers guarding one of Dorner's alleged targets mistakenly opened fire on a blue pickup truck that resembled one Dorner was thought to be driving, said Los Angeles police Chief Charlie Beck. The gunfire left two people wounded, Beck said. Torrance police also fired on another blue pickup, but no one was injured in that incident, according to a senior law enforcement source. What kind of cops are these guys? Fire that many shots, and you can't even kill the targets? |

I think a lot of cops have been fired for much less than this major fuck up. On the other hand the lady sergeant that appears to have started this with kicking a perp got promoted. |

I think the cops should at the very least be fired, but to try to be fair, this guy is specifically targeting lapd cops. Makes sense that they are protecting them. |
