I believe they replaced baseball and softball with golf. They will replace this with something new. This is still pretty fucked up. The same idiot that runs makers mark must be on the IOC. |

If they want to replace something, how about the stupid event in gymnastics where the girls prance around with a ribbon on a stick? |

Curling is a Winter Olympics event. They should replace the modern pentathlon with a sport called "Who can make the most money from stolen goods?" |

Q.Bovifs wrote: This is another slap at the USA by those Eurotrash Nazi asswipes at the IOC. First Chicago, now this. Wrestling was historically one of the US' best events. That's certainly not true. The U.S. doesn't have more than a handful of medalists in Greco where the Soviets and Swedes have dominated historically. We have been better in Freestyle but I wouldn't call it one of our "strongest events". It's been dominated by Russians and Turks. |

The Olympics are just like everyone else, they are selling out for the almighty dollar and trying to add more "hip" sports for tv and advertising revenue. One of the most memorable moments in the past 20 years in the Olympics in my opinion was when Rulon Gardner beat that big Russian dude for the gold medal in the heavyweight division of greco roman wrestling. |

I know this isn't in the spirit of Olympics and may portray myself as a misogynist but they could scrap all the women's track & field events and I'd be good. When all the women are pumping enough pills & creams to look like men I'd rather just watch the real thing. |

The Nerds have really won this time "fucking golf" was going to be an Olympic sport regardless of what happened to wrestling. Maybe you should try doing a little research before you start throwing insults around, Chasiepoop.
