Great job Spiegs. You have Jack O'Callahan on (who didn't sound like he wanted to be there to begin with) to celebrate the anniversary of the Miracle On Ice. Then you ask him what it feels like to peak at 22. Gee, don't know why he'd be insulted by that. Then you spend the rest of the interview back peddling. At least he ripped your dumb ass. |

What did O'Callahan say? The douchiness of MeatPants knows no bounds... |

He answered him really surly. You could tell he was pissed. Spiegel started damage control, but they kind of lost OC after that. Then towards the end Jack said something to the effect of you sit on your ass you're whole life, and you've never done anything athletic. Lol Bad week for Candyman! ![]() |

Yep, he couldnt backtrack fast enough. I thought Callahan was great and he sure let Meat know what a fucking douche he thought he was. The sit on your ass line was awesome. Stfu and let Mac handle the hockey interviews dumbass. |

This should be a rolling thread. Candyman has been on a super douche roll. I'd like to add him being condescending towards Matty when Matty stated he doesn't like U2. Went really prissy pants with that one. |

He picked the wrong guy. Jack O' Callahan has been very successful in his post-hockey career. |

Went really prissy pants with that one. He did get rather music snob with him, but Matt was kinda being a dismissive ass as well. |

He really asked that question? Wow, I'm definitely going to podcast that. Meat, get a hold of yourself, goddamn! |

For the record, I'm one of the people here that likes Spiegel, but he definitely has some sort of complex he's overcompensating for. It's been put on blast this week. ![]() |

Not having listened, I'm sure it was one of those embarrassing "What the fuck did I just say?" moments as soon as he spit the sentence out. Kinda like when Booker T called Hulk Hogan a n*igga. I'm sure that's why Spiegel backpedaled, because he likely didn't mean to say it the way it came out. |

Yeah I'm sure Mac wasn't too stoked about him insulting one of his hockey guys. It was a weird interview. Spiegs tried to drive the interview which was awkward. Mac kinda hung him out to dry ala Steve Stone/Harry Carey back in the day. |

If the guy knew Matt, he should have asked him what it is like to peak at 350 pounds. |

Think of all the huge and awesome interviews/angles etc. he has done and then think about all of the bad, fucked up, botched, crazy and insane ones he has played with a straight face. Solid. Anyone who can play straight a interview with Macho Man (cup a' coffee, NO MORE QUESTIONS, curious as a cat, your beard is crooked) is an A+ in my book. |
