Let me preface this by saying that I'm fine for having parties when you reach certain milestones like 21,30,40,50. But as an adult, with children, don't you think it's time to give up the birthday parties for yourself when you hit your 33rd or 34th birthday? YOU"RE FUCKING 34 YOU DON"T NEED A PARTY. It's annoying. |

I kind of agree. I don't mind the "hey we are going out for drinks for my bday, come join if you want" text, but yeah to actually plan a party is pretty lame. Furthermore I am not going to be guilted into going to your 32nd BDay either. |

It's annoying. A party for a 33rd birthday? No. Going out for drinks with friends for a 33rd birthday? Sure. Creating an event for yourself, getting a drink package at a bar, inviting people on Facebook to it and naming it <Insert Name Here>-palooza? Horrible. |

Yeah I don't really get the need for adults to have big parties for themselves for making it through another year. But I am a miserable fuck so I feel like I am the wrong person to weigh in on issues like this. |

The only thing worse than a 34 year old birthday party is a 34 year old birthday party weeks after the actual birthday because they "missed it" |

Is a random adult birthday party with some common folk better or worse than a celebrity birthday blowout club promoted party? |

One of my coworkers is turning 60 today and we are planning on getting together at the bar for drinks. Last time we got this group together, or manager's girlfriend ended up sitting on the lap of another supervisor's wife, making out with her hand down her shirt. ![]() Looking forward to tonight ![]() my wife refuses to go along ![]() |

I'd rather stay home or do anything else. 1. Pick up the money 2. Tell them you forgot the card/gift at home 3. Text them saying you came home to a gas leak 4. Sit on couch counting money |

so...Saturday June 29th. I'm having my 38th birthday party. We couldn't find a place for my 10,000 friends and loved ones, so we decided to have it at Summerfest. There is a $15 cover charge....and the beer is like $5 too, but all proceeds go to me. It's like a gift. |

I'm not going to have a party for myself because I'm still mad the Blackhawks wouldn't send Patrick Kane to wish my mom happy birthday. Oh wait. That was somebody else |
