Fuck him. He's dead to me. The Bears took a chance on you as a converted TE with a checkered past. They nurtured you through years you didn't deserve a spot on the roster. Then you leave for a 1 year deal because "they really wanted me". Hey, you fat felonious fuck, that is almost the definition of they really didn't want you. |

Denied. I can't hate on a guy for taking a better deal. |

The DB threads are getting way too common IMHO. It seems like the simplest things annoy you guys, like Louis doing what's best for him or people from Ohio wearing Ohio State gear. |

Completely disagree. He was by far their best offensive lineman last season and the year before that when he just about played everywhere on the line. The fact that Emery didn't believe it was important to retain him bothers me a lot and it should worry Cutler. This nomination should be going to Emery. Lance Louis was the only player that had pro bowl potential. |

It's disappointing to let a player you developed walked, especially on a one year deal. However, the market didn't seem to indicate it thought Louis was anything above mediocre. Cooper, Warmack or Warford all would come in as an immediate upgrade. I'm most disturbed by the indication that yet another first round OT is going to become a OG. |

The only reason I can believe other teams stayed away is there is an injury we don't know about. The guy was nasty. The Bears tried to run the ball to his side or get him to pull on every play because he was the only guy that could get it done. I recall someone say "If you want to know where the ball is going follow Lance Louis". You keep a guy like that when you don't have any depth on talent on the interior. |

Louis is also coming off an ACL tear. The injury happened at the worst possible time for him and the Bears. I have no no doubt they would have gotten something done long term if he was healthy. |

Do you think it is something worse than that? |

You think the owners are getting the raw end of the deal? |
